Our Facilities

St. Augustine Center for Living Day Treatment Program

On the west side of the campus is the Day Treatment Program in which clients participate from Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. It offers a variety of activities such as:

Recreation

This area offers a large multipurpose recreation building, exercise equipment, a pool, tennis court, athletic field, basketball court, outdoor bowling alley and pavilion.

Nursing

This area is well known throughout the state of Florida for its success in desensitizing clients to medical and dental exams.

Habilitation

Basic academics and social skills are offered in this area. It has six Touch-Screen Window computers.

Communication

Individuals are taught alternative means to communicate via sign language and picture boards.

Farm

Clients participate in activities such as mulching, planting, raking, watering and weeding on campus. Plants are grown in the facility greenhouse that the clients maintain.

Workshop

Individuals participate in daily contract work. These tasks consist of putting nails in closet brackets, preparing ladders and hardware for blinds and various packaging for different companies.Workshop tasks are engineered to encompass a broad spectrum of client abilities. A consultant is employed to find jobs that are compatible with the clients’ developmental level
